BADMINTON HORSE

Over
the years The Hare and Hounds Hotel has proved
immensely popular with visitors to Badminton,
due to its proximity to the horse trials and its
relaxing, house-party atmosphere. In 2007,
as previously, we are offering accommodation on
a dinner, room and breakfast basis only with a
minimum stay of four nights. Charges shown
below include our excellent four-course daily
dinner menu. We are well aware that many
of our Badminton guests are out for dinner on
certain nights but invite friends to dine here
on other nights. Therefore we are able to
offer dinner on a transferable basis, so that
if a party of two is out for dinner on two nights
but invites four guests to dinner on another night,
this will be included within the terms quoted.
However, for either dinner arrangement we do please
ask you to book your table each morning (including
the time required) for dinner that evening.
Rates
shown below are per room for the total period,
inclusive of Dinner, Full English Breakfast and
VAT at 17.5%. All rooms are en-suite and
have tea and coffee making facilities, satellite
television, radio, direct dial telephone and a
hairdryer.

BOOKING
TERMS - we will be pleased to hold provisional
reservations for 48 hours. Thereafter a
deposit of 50% of the total value is required
to confirm the booking. Full pre-payment
is required by 5th April 2006. A valid credit
card will be asked for at the time of booking
in order to process the payment.
CANCELLATION
CHARGES - in the event of cancellation
of your booking, the following percentage of the
rate for the type of accommodation booked will
be deducted from your payments:

to 28th February 2007 - 15%
Up
to 31st March 2007 - 25%
Up
to 22nd April 2007 - 50%
Later
cancellations - full payment will be retained.
Non-arrival
or Early Departure - rooms not taken
up on the first night booked will be considered
cancelled unless prior notification of delayed
arrival has been received. We regret that
we cannot offer a refund on unused room nights.
IMPORTANT
- please note that the above charges
apply in the event of any cancellation, regardless
of the reason and even if the Trials are cancelled.
We strongly recommend that you take out holiday
insurance. You can insure against being
forced to cancel through accident or illness.
It is, however, not usually possible to insure
against choosing to cancel your room in the event
of a horse not competing, or as a result of all
or part of the event being cancelled.
